Kulturnatt: Discover Sashiko.

On Friday, SIRKLÆR is joining Kulturnatt, and we’re inviting you to a relaxed and welcoming Sashiko workshop. We will talk about the idea behind it, its history, and the basic tools and techniques. And then, of course, we’ll sew! We’ll try out some simple traditional patterns.

It’s not about perfection. It’s about getting familiar with the movement and rhythm of the stitches. We’re also putting together a small Sashiko exhibition, so there will be a little extra to explore and learn along the way.

Low threshold, relaxed pace, and no previous experience needed. Just come by if you feel like it. The workshop will be held in English.
