Welcome to the ImproLab with Bjørn Marius Hegge and Anna Thu Schmidt on Saturday 3. December 2022 kl 14-16.
ImproLab is an improvisation laboratory for artists from all disciplines and the community of movement and sound enthusiasts in Trondheim.
The Lab wants to offer creative approaches to certain topics that can be explored interdisciplinary through improvisation.
In this ImproLab we invite you on a movement and sound journey inspired by the sounds of the double bass. Here, we take inspiration by the physicality of the double bass, its shape, form and materiality and translate that into body movements and soundscapes.
The event includes a workshop part with set exercises followed by an open jam as a playground for diverse artistic expressions. It is a free event supported by Kulturrådet, Trondheim Kommune and DansiT. Doors open 15 minutes before the event and will be closed by the start of the event.
